Museum Het Bolwerk

Back to overview

Museum Het Bolwerk in IJzendijke tells the story of the fortifications. In Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, hundreds of forts, dykes and lines were built during the Eighty Years’ War, many of which are still visible in the landscape. These States-Spanish Lines therefore form the core of the museum’s story of the Bulwark, which lies in the old war zone.
